Grito de Dolores

Happy Mexican Independence Day!

Contrary to popular belief, Cinco de Mayo is not Mexico's Independence day. In fact, Cinco de Mayo is not a federal holiday, but a regional one celebrated mostly in the state of Puebla. It commemorates the initial victory of Mexican forces over the French in the Battle of Puebla.

Honestley, I think Cinco de Mayo is just another excuse to party but who can aruge with that kind of reasoning? Today is a bigger reason to party though so a shout out to every Mexican!

VIVA MEXICO!
